Artist's notes: "Wally", was one of my earliest Sculptures. He was carved from an interesting piece of Brazilian
Soapstone. I think that the cleavage lines look like scars, perhaps from an encounter with a polar bear. His tusks
are made from the tooth of a Killer Whale. His whiskers are silver wire. His eyes are made of Black and Green
Jade, Onyx and Amber.
