Artist's Notes: "Swan #1", was carved from Brazilian Soapstone. It was my very first Stone Sculpture, created with
the most basic of tools. By the time it was completed, I knew that my days working as a painter were numbered; I'd
fallen in love with the ancient art of stone carving. "Swan #1", was given as a present to my wife.
